LaFox, IL, Tuesday, October 5, 2017 – Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL) announced today the addition of a new Director of Business Development in Canada for the Power & Microwave Technologies (“PMT”) Business Unit, effective October 16, 2017. PMT encompasses Richardson Electronics’ existing Electron Device Group (“EDG”) and adds new technologies and engineered solutions for the power conversion and RF and microwave markets.

Adrian Kurup brings a highly valued 20+ Years of RF and Wireless Sales Experience to the Richardson Team. He began his electronics career during his service with the Indian Airforce in Avionics and Telecom engineering. In 1995-1998 he worked for Richardson Electronics Canada as a DSM. During his career he has successfully managed regions for several electronics organizations like Cain Sweet, Co, Mini- Circuits and TST – Technology, as well as was responsible for Technical Sales and Marketing for Canada and India. Most recently, from 2012 to date, he worked for Richardson RFPD as Technical Sales and Marketing Manager, where he has grown the business each year.
